About Me

Eugene Brill: PHOTOGRAPHER, Wannabe Naturalist & Digital Nomad

Thanks J. Peterman! I am a professional photographer, dedicated wannabe naturalist, author, marketer & master gardener. Climate Change Defender...

I believe that Nature Deficit Disorder (NDD) is real, agree that ‘forest bathing’ (fully clothed, off course…😊) makes us happier, healthier and more creative. Through the lens of my camera, I'm sharing my passion - Storytelling with Photography.

Not everybody has the opportunity to spend time in nature, so through images and photography, I put nature discovery within the reach of everyone. Photo books (with narratives) and museum quality prints. Discover Botanical Gardens, Zoos and Nature Scenes as I travel the world with my camera.

My art business has been designated as a "Trusted Art Seller" with The Art Storefronts Organization, which means you can shop with confidence, and know that I stand behind the quality and value of my products.

Eugene Brill

Travel, nature, wildlife, landscape photographer and author.

I love little baby ducks, old pickup trucks
Slow-movin' trains and rain
I love little country streams, sleep without dreams
Sunday school in May and hay
And I love you, too
I love leaves in the wind, pictures of my friends
Birds of the world and squirrels
I love coffee in a cup, little fuzzy pups
Bourbon in a glass and grass
And I love you, too

This Song by Tom T. Hall inspires me...

Climate change is an unprecedented problem requiring unprecedented global cooperation. However, global efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions have failed thus far. Landscapes across the country are suffering from the severe impacts of overuse, and more children are losing their connection to the outdoors. The levee system turned the Mississippi river into a controlled canal and destroyed the natural coastline in the process.  The Louisiana coast loses a football field of land every 45 minutes!

This is what motivates me...

Eugene Brill: Lifelong learner, passionate teacher, enthusiastic seeker of answers to the ‘Why’?, ‘Why not’? and ‘What if?’ questions. Oh yes, and a dive-in-and-do-it expert on start-ups, business strategy and internet marketing.  Climate change advocate and educator, conservation, nature & landscape photographer. I'm an enthusiastic gardener and sustainable landscape manager passionate about environmental causes. I spend a lot of time in the great outdoors with my camera, and LOVE it!

I want to make a difference...

Beautiful Content. ResponsiBLE.

I am a landscape, nature, wildlife, and travel photographer and author. I am a wannabe naturalist and digital nomad. My passion is conservation and wilderness photography, through the lens of an amateur naturalist. I do not hold a PhD in environmental science, botany, or another scientific field, however I am a dedicated student of nature, as well as an avid gardener, sustainable landscape designer, and photographer. Although I do not speak with the vocabulary of taxonomic groupings, species, and genera, I can communicate clearly with “Joe Public” in language easy to understand—thanks to my MBA in business/marketing and mentoring of startup entrepreneurs. I am constantly improving my photography skills and my ability to translate science into plain English. I love to share knowledge and my photography, and I believe that Nature Deficit Disorder (NDD) is real, agree that “forest bathing” (fully clothed, of course . . . 😎) makes us happier, healthier, and more creative. I subscribe to the teachings of Edward O. Wilson and the Biophilia Hypothesis and love the stories told by Aldo Leopold in his book A Sand County Almanac. The book The Uninhabitable Earth – Life After Warming by David Wallace-Wells scares me…

I support organizations with missions that blends education, social responsibility, and environmental stewardship with the the emphasis related to climate change and environmental justice.
